The purpose of this assignment is to examine a piece of content you have used for learning in a theoretical Marketing course and find ways to break it down and build it back up. The guide you will use to examine and critically reflect on the content resides in one of more of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the values the SDG or SDGS communicate.
The first thing you’ll need is a website to explain the SDGs and give you options for each one. The website below may be a good start and provides a video that will help you learn more about the Goals. If you select any one of the Goals on the lower part of the web page you can use it to “Read More” about the Goal. Pay attention to the Goal Targets and Links on the lower part of any given Goal page to see some of the Goal details.
The next thing you’ll do is select a reading, chapter, or video you’ve used for learning in the first part of this theoretical Marketing course and begin to think critically about it. Does the resource align with the values and ideals of the SDGs? How might the resource be improved to better align with ideas represented in the SDGs?
Create a one-or two-page (approximately 500 – 750 words) document. Your document should highlight elements of a learning resource that could be improved through alignment with an SDG that matters to you. Please cite the resources you use correctly using APA style (including references). Confirm how you would re-write or re-design the resource using examples of global (regional or local) issues and realities.
